ISS was established
in January 2002 as a complete back-end manufacturing process and service
provider for many Multi-national companies situated both locally in Malaysia and
also overseas in Korea, U.S., Taiwan and Japan.
Over the past 5 years, as of December 2007, investments in fixed assets totaled
USD 5 million, out of which
70 % were invested in the procurement of high-tech back-end
manufacturing/inspection equipment for I.C. substrates such as PBGA, CSP, BOC,
etc. and also in the investment of back-end manufacturing equipment for I.C.
such as wafer singulation, testing and tape & reel processes.
As an official back-end manufacturing process provider approved by both our
customers and end-customers, ISS currently drop ships to end customers in
Malaysia, Singapore, China, Thailand, Philippines, Europe and the U.S.
ISS is helmed by a Management team which has vast experience in I.C. substrates
manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, board & box assembly, plastic
injection moulding and semiconductor/electronics equipment design, fabrication
and servicing. The Management team comprise staff who had in the past held key
and senior managerial positions in these industries in various big
Multi-national companies.
As of today, ISS remains the only local company capable of providing complete
back-end manufacturing and automatic vision inspection of I.C. substrates (PBGA,
CSP, etc.) for our customers. This capability is achieved due to ISS’ belief and
commitment in investing in technology capable of fulfilling our customers’
requirement and also in the continuous development of our staff. Our production,
engineering and customer service staff are constantly challenging their
performance against established industry benchmarks and in the process has also
established various other key performance indicators unique to the culture and
expectations of both local and overseas customers expectations.
